1. Nature of the Platform
- Online directory, advertising, and lead-generation for independent, qualified swimming coaches.
- Locations: UK (London) & UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi).
- Swim At Home does not employ coaches, provide lessons, manage bookings, or payments.
- All agreements, payments, and services are strictly between client and coach.
- Respond to client enquiries or questions within 24 hours
- Provide free initial consultations as expected by clients.
- Clearly communicate pricing for private swim lessons, group classes, and packages.
- Set and manage your own cancellation and refund policies within your packages.
- Provide accurate information and arrange bookings directly with clients.
- Maintain up-to-date public liability and professional indemnity insurance & DBS enhanced check
- Follow all Swim At Home platform rules.
- List the aquatics disciplines you provide (e.g., freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, aquagym, aqua aerobics, etc.).
- End the relationship with Swim At Home via email to [email protected]; no refunds will be provided.
- Swim At Home owns website content, branding, logos, and layout.
- Coaches retain ownership of their profile content (images, videos, CVs) but grant Swim At Home a license to display it.
- Coaches are responsible for maintaining accurate profile info.
- Swim At Home is not liable for inaccurate or outdated info.
- Annual subscription: £1,188/year (UK) (~AED equivalent: 5,580 AED) or £99/month (AED 465/month).
- Subscription is required to list one city profile.
- Verified Coach Badge: Optional one-time fee £50 (~AED 235), payable upon application.
- Installments via Klarna (UK) available for full price £1,188/year (UK)
- 12-month commitment, non-refundable.
- Cancellation possible only after 12-month lock-in.

- Swim At Home may revoke badge if requirements are not met or information becomes outdated.
- Coaches are independent contractors.
- Swim At Home is not responsible for coaching, bookings, or disputes.
- Coaches must maintain their own insurance and comply with UK or UAE regulations.
- Collected for profile display, verification, subscriptions, and badge purposes.
- Payment info collected only for subscription and badge fees.
- Stored securely in compliance with UK GDPR, ICO registered, UAE PDPL compliant.
- Retention: Profile data while active; verification data up to 6 years; payment records 6 years.

Subscription Fees
- Annual subscription: £1,188/year (UK) (~AED 5,580) or £99/month (UK) (~AED 465/month) (AED based on current exchange rate)
- Verified Coach Badge (optional): £50 one-time fee (~AED 235)
- for full payment upfront a 20% off is applied on the total amount: £950.40/year (UK) / UAE (AED based on current exchange rates) - launching price for the 1st 10 swim coaches per city
- for UAE Swim Teacher the option to pay in 3 instalments by bank transfer
- Each coach profile is listed for one city only.
- 12-month minimum commitment; fees are non-refundable.
- No guarantee of enquiries or bookings or leads.
- Payments processed securely via Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant).
- Stripe ensures encrypted card processing; Swim At Home does not store full card details.
- UK coaches may use Klarna installments, subject to Klarna approval.
- All transactions are protected with SSL/TLS encryption.
- Subscriptions do not auto-renew, it has an expiration date, from payment date counting 12months.
- Coaches must submit a renewal enquiry at least 30 days before the 12-month term ends by email: [email protected]
- Renewal is subject to availability, as Swim At Home limits the number of coaches per city.
- Swim At Home reserves the right to decline renewal if city capacity is reached or standards are not met.
- AED pricing is indicative and may vary due to exchange rates or conversion fees.
Mandatory Requirements to join the platform and get the Requirements to Verified Coach Badge
- Mandatory requirements to be eligible to be on the platform:
- At least 3+ years of teaching swimming experiences (CV)
- the most recent swimming qualifications has to be provided by the swim coach: Awarding Body: ASA Swim England Level 1 & Level 2 or STA Swimming Teaching qualifications, additional certifications (babies, special needs, open water, ironman)
- Safety qualifications: STA Safety for Swim Teacher or NPLQ qualifications (optional but desirable )up to date
- IOS Swimming insurance up to date covering Public liability and professional liability
- DBS enhanced check (CRB) no older than 1 year
- Right to Work in the UK / Right to work in the UAE (EID +Visa)
- Two professional references (name, surname, email)
- Swimming verification video recording yourself (5meters each: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly)
- Badge is non-transferable and only for use on Swim At Home profile.
- One-time Fee: £50 non-refundable.
- Badges may be revoked if requirements are not met or info becomes outdated.
5. Legal & Compliance
- Coaches are independent contractors, not employees of Swim At Home.
- Swim At Home is registered with the UK ICO and acts as the Data Controller.
- Coaches must maintain their own insurance and comply with applicable UK or UAE regulations (own insurance must cover public and professional indemnity)
- Data collected for subscriptions and badge verification is retained securely, data is stored but can be removed permanently (within 7 days) upon written request.
- Coaches may exercise GDPR rights (access, update, delete) via [email protected].
6. Termination & Suspension
- Swim At Home may suspend or remove listings for false info, policy breaches, or non-payment.
